Admission

We are a community school of over 400 students. All lessons are taught in our purpose built accommodation. We pride ourselves on maintaining a learning environment which is conducive to the highest standards.

We are able to guarantee a place for all students from our local junior schools. Each year several students from other areas join the school. We are keen to ensure that all new entrants to the school are welcomed in a manner which is academically challenging but is also nurturing.

If your son or daughter has a physical disability the Local Education Authority, as part of the review process at the end of Key Stage 2, will discuss with you, the school where his/her requirements can best be met. Ysgol y Grango is a resourced school for the physically disabled students and is proud of its reputation for helping them achieve success. The building is designed to allow wheelchair access to all areas. The expert support and assistance of experienced teaching assistants allows disabled students access to the curriculum.
