Child Protection

The Department for Education and Welsh Office guidance makes it clear that Schools and Colleges have important roles to play in the protection of children against abuse. This is confirmed by the Policy of Wrexham County Council, which sets out the necessary procedures to be followed by all staff. Grango therefore has a duty to refer any concerns about the well-being of students to the Social Services Department and School Medical Officer for further advice.
