Consequences of Misbehaviour

| 1 | Verbal Warning | Any Teacher | Learn, accept & apologise |
| 2 | Second Warning | Any Teacher | Short detention / discussion with your teacher. Failure to attend or persistent refusal to follow the rules leads to level 3. |
| 3 | Breaktime or 15 minute detention | Any Teacher | Failure to attend will cause the student to be in detention for ½ hour with the teacher concerned at lunchtime. A record will be kept and you will be given targets to meet by your subject teacher. A record of this will go to your Subject Leader If behaviour improves no further action taken, at that time. If you still misbehave then the first two stages are no longer necessary, you now go straight on to another 45 minute after school detention with the Subject Leader. See Consequence 4. |
| 4 | Parents will be contacted | Subject Leader. Also Progress Leader may be involved | Detention with SL for 45 minutes. If you fail to attend 45 minute detention; a 1 hour school detention will be given by your Progress Leader. If you fail to attend the 1 hour school detention; appropriate documentation will be passed to your Progress Leader and a decision as to the next consequence made. Parents may be brought into school. You may be internally suspended. |
| 5 | Individual Behaviour Plans (IBP) | Progress Leaders, ESW/SENCO |
If you continue to misbehave you will be provided with an Individual Behaviour Plan (IBP) and targets set to improve your behaviour. |
| 6 | Pastoral Support Plan (PSP) | Progress Leaders, ESW and possibly Leadership Team |
If targets are not met on the IBP you will go to the final stage – a Pastoral Support Plan (PSP). Failure to meet these targets will make you liable to permanent exclusion. |
