Examination Results Summer 2008
Ysgol y Grango is pleased to be a genuine comprehensive school. We are committed to achieving the highest standards for all our students. It is our intention to offer students as broad a range of qualifications as possible in order to ensure that they leave with a wide portfolio of qualifications.
We are delighted that the examination results this year are the highest that the school has achieved. Many students gained higher grade passes and a number of students achieved ten or eleven GCSE’s. In addition, a significant number of students achieved success in Key Skills.
It is imperative that all students realize their potential whatever their potential may be.
Stephanie Parker & Rebecca Harper
Stephanie achieved 8 higher grade GCSEs and a Distinction in CACHE and Rebecca achieved 11 higher grade GCSEs as well as a Distinction in CACHE.
Many individuals achieved pleasing results in August 08
Drew Wickens
Drew Wickens gained 8 Higher Grade Passes and A Pass in BTEC First Certificate in Sport.
Carys Wright
Carys Wright achieved 9 GCSEs and a Merit in CACHE.
Laura Carter, Kenny Gillam & Vanessa Davies
Kenny gained 10 higher grade GCSEs. Laura gained 7 higher grade passes as well as DIDA 4 level 1 distinctions. As well as gaining 9 GCSE passes, Vanessa gained a pass in CACHE.
