The Learning Environment
Improving the school environment and resources has been a high priority this year. The Headteacher and Governors are committed to a continued programme of re-decoration and development of resources.
Over the last three years, two new computer suites and ICT facilities have been created on the lower corridor of the school. Each room has thirty new computers and the latest interactive whiteboard technology to help assist teachers in delivering high quality learning experiences for pupils.

Pictured is Mrs Corbally, Progress Leader for Years 8 & 9, with students enjoying the new facilities.
The impressive art work produced by our students is enhancing many corridor and lobby areas of the building. Pupils are delighted that their work is on display. Much of the work is mounted as individual student’s work but there are also some large murals which have been completed by groups of students which will be hung around the building.

The Art department regularly has exhibitions of work in Rhos Library and in the Gallery at Theatre Clwyd.
The Courtyard area near the school Dining Hall has been re-paved. Picnic tables, benches and planters are making this area a very pleasant place for students to enjoy their lunch and breaks. This area is being dedicated to the memory of Grango pupils who have passed away.
Pictured below are students taking advantage of the facilities to enjoy their meal and take a break.
