Key Stage 4 Courses and Subject Information Booklet

As you are aware we are approaching a milestone in your child’s education.  In the near future your child will be required to finalise their choice of subject areas they would like to pursue in Key stage 4.  Unfortunately, it is not possible to give your child an open choice as a number of subjects will have to be studied as part of a core curriculum including:

However, we are firmly committed to the principle of putting every child at the centre of what we do.  Subsequently, we are committed to presenting a curriculum that caters for the needs of each individual student as far as possible.

In view of this your child has already had several consultation meetings with members of staff in order to give him or her an opportunity to inform us of areas they might like to study next year.

The information presented in this booklet will inform you further and we invite you to join us in the process of consultation.
